Five community groups in Cavan have received grants of €1,000 through the RISE Community Fund.
The fund is supported by National Broadband Ireland and provides grants to give immediate cash injections to local communities seeking to boost their digital footprint.
Cavan was one of the first locations to benefit from the fund. The successful groups were Shercock Killan Rural Development, Templeport Resource Centre, and the Cavan Federation Irish Country Women’s Association. Mullahoran Community Centre and the Cottage Market Cavan also benefitted.
For tonight’s edition of the Bottom Line, we caught up with Imelda Mullen from the Cottage Market Cavan.
